Build Docket by asking your AI agent

No editor required. The agent writes your copy, swaps the photos and publishes the site.

  1. 1Connect Sitelas to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI agent that supports MCP. How to connect
  2. 2Ask for it in plain words: “Build a website for a solo personal injury lawyer using the Docket template.”
  3. 3Open the preview link it sends back, ask for changes, and publish when it reads right.

Then keep changing it from the same chat

  • Rewrite the copy“Rewrite every page in a warmer, friendlier voice.”
  • Change the design“Make the colours earthier and use a serif for headings.”
  • Add or remove pages“Add a Pricing page and remove the Blog.”
  • Rearrange sections“Move the testimonials higher and add an FAQ.”
  • Swap the photos“Replace the photos with ones that fit my business.”
  • Run the site“Show me this week's form messages, then publish.”

Everything here can also be done by hand in the visual editor.

About the Docket template

Built for a lawyer who practices alone

Docket suits a solo attorney who wants clients to meet them, see what they handle and ask for a free evaluation. Every page ends with the same evaluation form.

What's on the site

  • Home with your name over a full-width portrait, a short introduction, your practice areas, your admissions and memberships, a client testimonial and the evaluation form
  • Practice areas, with a page for each one: what it covers, the situations you take on and advice for a first meeting
  • About, with your biography and four short notes on how you work
  • Client stories, with quotes from past clients, what clients can expect and a past-results disclaimer
  • Free consultation, explaining what happens after someone gets in touch
  • Legal, for your terms of use, privacy policy and attorney-advertising notice

Keeping it current

Practice areas are a collection: add one by hand or ask your AI agent, and it gets its own page and a card on the home page. Add it to the form's list of areas too. Inquiries land in your Sitelas inbox.

When to pick something else

Docket is the wrong template for these. Where there is a better one, it is linked.

  • Law firm with several partners, an attorney directory and offices — try Whitford
  • Consultant or coach selling discovery calls rather than legal cases — try Plumbline
  • Court-reporting, legal-tech or other software product
  • A firm that wants a blog or insights archive as its main content
  • Ecommerce

Questions about Docket

Where do case evaluation requests go?

To your Sitelas inbox. The form at the foot of every page asks for a name, phone, email, the area of law and a short description of what happened.

Does it include an attorney-advertising disclaimer?

Yes. The footer and the Client stories page say that past results do not guarantee a similar outcome, and a Legal page holds terms of use, a privacy policy and an advertising notice. Check the wording against your state bar's rules.

Who is Docket for?

Docket is built for a solo personal injury lawyer, a medical malpractice attorney and a solo attorney or solicitor taking case evaluations. Not built for law firm with several partners, an attorney directory and offices — try Whitford instead.

What pages come with Docket?

6 pages, already written and laid out: Home, Practice areas, About, Client stories, Free consultation and Legal. Add, rename or remove pages whenever you like.

Can Claude or ChatGPT build my site from Docket?

Yes. Connect Sitelas to your AI agent and ask for a site that uses Docket. It fills in your details, sends you a preview link, and publishes when you approve. The same chat can keep running the site afterwards.

Can I change Docket without code?

Yes. Click any text, photo or colour to change it in the visual editor, or ask your AI agent to make the change. Nothing is locked.

What does it cost?

Nothing to start, with no trial clock. A free site runs on a sitelas.com address; Pro is $16 a month per site ($160 a year) for your own domain, analytics and more room.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Pro. Point your domain at the site and the SSL certificate is issued and renewed for you.

Make Docket yours

It opens in the editor with every page already written. Change what you want, publish when it reads like you.
