Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This policy explains how to cancel a paid Sitelas subscription, how to get a refund, and what happens to your site afterward. It supplements our Terms of Service.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a paid Sitelas subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the charge. No justification is required.

This guarantee is in addition to — and never limits — any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer law (see “Statutory rights” below).

How to request a refund

Email contact@sitelas.com with the email address used at checkout, or contact Paddle directly — as Merchant of Record, Paddle handles customer service inquiries and returns on our behalf, and can be reached at paddle.net.

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval.

AI credits

One-time AI credit top-ups are covered by the same 30-day window: any unused credit balance is refundable within 30 days of purchase. Credits already consumed are not refundable, because the AI service they paid for has already been delivered. Credits do not expire.

Cancellation

You may cancel a paid site subscription at any time from your dashboard, or via the Paddle customer portal linked from your receipt. Upon cancellation:

  • Paid features remain active through the end of the current billing period — you keep what you have already paid for.
  • At the end of the billing period, the site downgrades to Free and remains published with Free-tier operational caps. Your content is not deleted.
  • Each site is billed independently — cancelling one site does not affect your other sites or your AI credit balance.
  • Cancelling stops all future charges for that site.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under applicable consumer law. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content or services within 14 days. These rights apply in addition to the 30-day guarantee above, and are honoured by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

Failed payments

If a scheduled payment fails, paid features remain active for a three-day grace period during which we retry the charge and notify you. If the payment cannot be collected within that window, the site automatically downgrades to Free — your content stays published under Free-tier limits.
