Fader Podcast website with blog template

Fader is for podcasts made by one or two people and paid for by their listeners. The newest episode has a player right on the home page and every episode card has its own. A support page, a journal and an email signup give listeners a reason to come back between episodes.

Every colour, word and photograph — in the editor or by asking an AI agent

Build Fader by asking your AI agent

No editor required. The agent writes your copy, swaps the photos and publishes the site.

  1. 1Connect Sitelas to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI agent that supports MCP. How to connect
  2. 2Ask for it in plain words: “Build a website for a conversational podcast with two hosts using the Fader template.”
  3. 3Open the preview link it sends back, ask for changes, and publish when it reads right.

Then keep changing it from the same chat

  • Rewrite the copy“Rewrite every page in a warmer, friendlier voice.”
  • Change the design“Make the colours earthier and use a serif for headings.”
  • Add or remove pages“Add a Pricing page and remove the Blog.”
  • Rearrange sections“Move the testimonials higher and add an FAQ.”
  • Swap the photos“Replace the photos with ones that fit my business.”
  • Run the site“Show me this week's form messages, then publish.”

Everything here can also be done by hand in the visual editor.

About the Fader template

Built for independent podcasts

Fader suits a show made by one or two people and paid for by its listeners. Visitors can press play straight from the home page or the archive, meet the hosts, and find out how to support the show without leaving the site.

What's on the site

  • Home with the newest episode and its player, the four before it, the hosts, a support card, the latest journal posts and an email signup
  • Episodes, with a search box and every episode playable in place, plus a page for each one with show notes
  • Support, with buttons for Patreon and PayPal
  • FAQs, About with both hosts, and Contact with a message form
  • Journal, for notes between episodes, with a page for each post

Keeping it current

Episodes and journal posts are collections: add one by hand or ask your AI agent, and it gets its own page. Give a new episode the next Sort order number (the episode number works) and it takes the top spot on the home page and in the archive. Paste the direct MP3 link from your podcast host into each episode to give it a player. Sign-ups and messages land in your Sitelas inbox; Sitelas does not send the newsletter itself.

When to pick something else

Fader is the wrong template for these. Where there is a better one, it is linked.

  • Dark, dramatic single-page show promo with guest spotlights — try Airwave
  • A show with a long back catalogue it wants scanned as compact rows — try Patchbay
  • Text-only blog or newsletter with no audio — try Narrative
  • Musician or band releasing tracks
  • Video-first channel
  • Ecommerce

Questions about Fader

Can listeners play episodes without leaving the site?

Yes. Paste the direct MP3 link from your podcast host into an episode and it gets a player in the archive and on its own page. The five newest also play on the home page.

Can listeners support the show?

Yes. A support page carries Patreon and PayPal buttons, and a card on the home page links to Patreon too. Point each button at your own page.

Who is Fader for?

Fader is built for a conversational podcast with two hosts, an interview podcast with a growing episode archive and an independent show funded by listeners on Patreon. Not built for dark, dramatic single-page show promo with guest spotlights — try Airwave instead.

What pages come with Fader?

7 pages, already written and laid out: Home, Episodes, Support, FAQs, Journal, About and Contact. Add, rename or remove pages whenever you like.

Can Claude or ChatGPT build my site from Fader?

Yes. Connect Sitelas to your AI agent and ask for a site that uses Fader. It fills in your details, sends you a preview link, and publishes when you approve. The same chat can keep running the site afterwards.

Can I change Fader without code?

Yes. Click any text, photo or colour to change it in the visual editor, or ask your AI agent to make the change. Nothing is locked.

What does it cost?

Nothing to start, with no trial clock. A free site runs on a sitelas.com address; Pro is $16 a month per site ($160 a year) for your own domain, analytics and more room.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Pro. Point your domain at the site and the SSL certificate is issued and renewed for you.
